When one thinks of the word “fall”, there is often a negative connotation as in the dictionary definition of “moving downward, typically rapidly and freely without control, from a higher to a lower level”. That kind of fall can hurt!

But to me, with a birthday of the first day of fall, I have always associated this word with autumn – the season of falling leaves, new beginnings, and transitions. I LOVE fall. Our natural surroundings are so colorful and so beautiful; the cool nights and warm days are refreshing and provide us with a burst of energy; and it has always been the perfect time to enthusiastically begin afresh. I wish for all of you the opportunity to experience the beauty, energy, and enthusiasm this season brings!

Here at STAT we are especially excited this fall as our renovations are progressing. The 10th floor demolition is complete, new walls have been built, and final decisions are being made on colors and designs for all the finishes. While the process is not without its challenges, the end result is going to be very dramatic – just like the change from summer to autumn!
