August 2014 – Monthly Newsletter

August – Did you ever pay attention to the fact that the month of August frequently has a bad reputation? Heard the expression “dog days of summer”? That refers to the extreme heat usually experienced in August. Did you know the Anglo-Saxons called it Weod monath, which means Weed month, because it is the month when weeds grow most rapidly? August is also the month when Mount Vesusvius erupted – certainly not a happy memory for the citizens of Pompeii!

To me though, August has always been a month that held great promise: another whole month of summer fun followed by September with its promise of new beginnings and new adventures.

That is the kind of August we are experiencing here at STAT Office Solutions. We continue to grow relationships with both our current client base and new friends met through networking and various acquaintances. We are very much looking forward to the launch of our new website this month. And we continue to make progress on our renovation plans which will enhance the experience of both our physical and virtual client base.

So… may you continue to relish another few weeks of summer. May you have the opportunity for some recreation and reflection. May you too have the promise of some new beginning and new adventures in the near future.
